The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) will today present the validation progress report for the second batch of Rapid and Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test kits submitted to her for the purposes of diagnosis and surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (COVID-19).
The COVID-19 test kits were submitted to Council by manufacturers or their sales representatives in the country for the purposes of premarket validation.
The pre-market validation was done at the Council’s Public Health in-vitro Diagnostics Control Laboratory, Yaba Lagos.
