A contestant in the recently held Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) Bayelsa State Branch elections has been highly commended for his admirable disposition.
MLS Loveday Zebedee, the immediate past Secretary of the Association and a candidate for the Chairmanship position, was widely praised for his exceptional maturity and commendable sportsmanship. Zebedee graciously congratulated fellow contestant MLS Eunice Lelei, who won the election, with a heartfelt hug and a warm congratulatory message on social media.
He wrote:

Several Medical Laboratory Scientists reacted positively to this admirable act of sportsmanship demonstrated by MLS Loveday Zebedee.
The National Publicity Secretary of the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science Society (HBTSSN), MLS Kenneth Zifawei, wrote:

MLS Eunice Lelei polled 72 votes against MLS Loveday Zebedee’s 29 to decisively emerge as Chairman of the Branch. Both served as Assistant Secretary and Secretary respectively in the outgone administration as well as both are staff of the Federal Medical Centre Yenagoa.
