The Management of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has approved an extension of the deadline for 2025 Annual practice license payment as well as registration letter for a period of Six months.
This is coming four days after the expiration of the March, 31st deadline.
Council made this known in a publication on its handle @Medlabnigeria on X.

According to the publication, the extension of the March 31 deadline was “following the numerous requests forwarded to her by medical laboratory science practitioners pleading for an extension of the March 31 deadline for payment of annual practice license and annual registration letters”.

EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF 2025 ANNUAL PRACTICE LICENSE/REGISTRATION LETTERS
Following the numerous requests forwarded to the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (hereinafter referred to as “MLSCN”) by medical laboratory science practitioners pleading for an extension of the March 31 deadline for payment of annual practice license and annual registration letters, the management of MLSCN has reviewed these requests in light of the current financial situation and approved the extension of the deadline as follows:
2. The deadline has been extended to September 30, 2025.
3. All practitioners are enjoined to utilize the extended period to update their records on the MLSCN payment portal and promptly pay for their 2025 annual practice license/annual registration letters.
4. You are to note further that this extension is only for this year, 2025. Kindly bring this to the attention of all concerned.
