Corper Medical Lab. Scientist Donates COVID-19 Intervention Materials to Cross River State

A Corps member deployed to Cross River State for his mandatory one year service has donated COVID-19 intervention materials to Cross River State Government as part of his personal community development service. 

The Corp member, Scientist Essien Ekemini Etim with state code CR/19C/0210 donated items such as hand washing buckets, hand sanitizers and medically graded nose mask to the state government which are to be distributed to  hospitals, Primary Health Care  centres, Palace of the Obong of Calabar, and Public Facilities in  Calabar, Cross River State.
Receiving the items, the State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Betta Edu praised the Corps member for  thinking it wise to donate such materials to the state. Prayed God to reward his efforts and called on others to emulate the gesture demonstrated by the Corps member.

Present at the handing over of the items to the state government was the Director NYSC South South area, Mr Ayodele Folorunso Omotade, and The State Coordinator, NYSC Cross River State. Alh. Mohammed Nakamba.
