AMLSN MLSCN Secretary launches Book on Academic Excellence 

The Secretary, Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria AMLSN, Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) chapter Dr. Samuel Fasogbon has launched a book on academic success.

 

The launching and public presentation of the book entitled overcoming barriers to Academic Success was held recently at the AMLSN House Secretariat, Durumi District, Garki Abuja.

 

Speaking at the launch, the author of the book Dr. Samuel Ayobami Fasogbon noted that the book was born out of challenges he encountered in his career journey, discussion with academically successful people as well as interviews with people having academic challenges.

On his part, the Chief Launcher and Chairman of the Occasion Dr. Okechukwu Ironkwe in his opening remark described the book as a masterpiece while stressing that the author has displayed a great level of intellectual capacity which he has brought to bear in the book.

 

Dr. Ironkwe who is also the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) Federal Capital Territory Abuja Chairman congratulated the author even as he noted that the Association is very proud of his achievement.

 

The Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, MLSCN Dr. Tosan Erhabo who was represented by an acting Director in the Department of Planning Research and Statistics MLSCN Dr. Akinwale Akinlabi expressed joy at the feat recorded by the author as well as recommended the book not only to postgraduate students but undergraduate students as well as it will go along to help them in their journey to academic success.

The event which was anchored by MLS. Sunday Ejemete was well attended by personalities from all walks of life including but not limited to MLS Paul Oriel (Chairman AMLSN Federal Medical Center Jabi), YMLSF National President MLS. Emmanuel Khoda, YMLSF National Secretary MLS. Jegede Suleiman, YMLSF National Program Director MLS. Isioma Uwagbai.
