Meet Babajide Salako, the Newly appointed MLSCN Board Chairperson

Dr. Babajide Salako, is the newly appointed Board Chairperson of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

 

Dr. Babajide Salako is an Internal Medicine trained physician who also has a Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University.

 

He is an experienced leader with a varied and international experience in medicine and the business of medicine in various roles and responsibilities.

 

He is the Chief Executive Officer of Dialysis Care Center (DCC) where he’s responsible for driving the company’s visionary plan, growth and overseeing the dialysis business operations on a daily basis.

 

Before joining DCC he held the position of Senior Director of Disaster Response and Business Continuity with Fresenius, where his responsibility included responding to and managing disasters as it impacted kidney patients globally.

 

Dr. Babajide Salako’s business acumen and extraordinary vision have earned him numerous recognitions including Person of the Year from the Kidney Community Emergency Response Coalition.

 

Dr. Salako’s appointment was made known by President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale statement on Thursday titled ‘President Tinubu approves leadership changes in health and social welfare sector.’
