NUC grants Varsity approval to run BMLS programme

National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted a new University the approval to commence the running of the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science programme which significantly increases the list of universities offering the course in Nigeria.

 

Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B MLS was among 4 courses the NUC has given Anchor University, Lagos State the nod to commence with effect from the 2022/2023 academic Session. Others are B.Sc. Architecture,  B.NSC. Nursing Science and LL.B. Law

 

In a letter to the Institution, NUC said:

I am directed to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the following undergraduate programmes, to be run in the Main Campus of the University with effect from the 2022/2023 academic session.

 

The programmes shall bear only the approved title and nomenclature and any change will require the approval of the Commission. The University is enjoined to provide adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved programmes.

Anchor University is a private Christian university owned by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The university is located at Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos State.
