WAPCMLS gets the nod from ECOWAS Assembly of Health Ministers

The West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science (WAPCMLS) has gotten a major boost in its quest to kickstart its operations.

The ECOWAS Assembly of Health Ministers which is a group comprising of all member countries Ministers of Health recently voted overwhelming in favor and full support of the college.
A total of 12 Ministers from the 15 Member states of the ECOWAS recently gave their approval for the commencement of the college.

The registrar of the College, Dr. Godswill Okara disclosed this when a delegation of the Nigerian Chapter of the College led by the AMLSN National President Dr. B. E. Bassey visited the Secretariat of the College located at  No. 26 Lomé Crescent, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja recently.
WAPCMLS aims to produce Medical Laboratory Science professionals of the highest quality, competence and dedication, who will provide effective diagnostic laboratory services, teaching and research leadership for addressing the health needs of West Africa and the global community.
