Dr. Casmir Cajetan Ifeanyi, the recently elected 15th National President of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) has written to  extended his deepest appreciation to Medical Laboratory Scientists for their unwavering support in the recently held Association’s Election.

A FORMAL TOKEN OF APPRECIATION

I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your solidarity, and trust in electing me as the 15th National President of our Association. The early hours of Sunday, 19th November 2023, will forever remain a milestone in my efforts to birth a prosperous AMLSN, and I am truly honored to serve as your leader.

Though I have appreciated you all in my acceptance speech after swearing-in, I, on behalf of my fellow NEOs would like to pay special encomium to the distinguished Elders of our profession, including Prof. D.E Agbonlahor, Elder Bona Nlemadim, Prof. Nnamah, Prof. S. Etukudor, Mr. Manson Rubaino, Evangelist Sam Emmanuel, Chris Mbata, and the esteemed members of the Board of Fellows, as well as the able Registrar of MLSCN — Dr. Tosan Erahbor. Your contributions and commitment to the growth and development of Medical Laboratory Science in Nigeria are immeasurable and deeply appreciated.

I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum (YMLSF), the Association of Female Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AFMLSN), Guild of Medical Laboratory Directors (GMLD) and all other Subgroups groups and Affiliates within our Association. Your support and dedication serve as an inspiration to us all, and I strongly believe that together, we can achieve remarkable milestones.

To Prof. James Damen, my predecessor and the immediate past National President, I extend my sincere gratitude for your outstanding leadership and tireless efforts in advancing our profession. I am humbled by the solid foundation you have laid, and I commit to building upon your achievements.

Lastly, I extend a hand of fellowship to my co-contestants – Prof. Abidemi Muhibi, Prof. Mariam Unachukwu, and Prof. Emenike. Your expertise and passion are invaluable assets, and I wholeheartedly invite you to join me in shaping AMLSN of our dreams. Together, by bringing your plans and experience to the table, we can create a stronger and more impactful Association.

Once again, I thank each and every one of you for your support. I am committed to implementing my campaign manifesto to the letter within the next 36 months, and I look forward to working closely with all of you to bring positive change and progress to our association.
