Confluence City 2025: Meet YMLSF newly elected NEOs

Confluence City 2025: Members of the Young Medical Laboratory Scientists’ Forum (YMLSF) have elected a fresh crop of National Executive Officers to pilot it affairs.

 

Elections were held into various positions of the Forum on the last day of the Forum’s just concluded 8th National Annual Summit held from the 21st to 23rd August 2025 at the Banquet hall of Kogi State Government House, Lokoja.

 

After a rigorous electioneering process that lasted a whole day, the following contestants were returned elected. They are:

 

  1. ‎MLS. Adeola-Oyekan Joshua  as National President 
  2. ‎MLS. Ismail Hassan as ‎National Vice President North-East
  3. ‎MLS. Isah Isyaku as ‎National Vice President Nowth-West 
  4. ‎MLS. Ojo David Olorunfemi as ‎National Vice President North-Central
  5. ‎MLS. Somadina Captain Sunday as National Vice President South-East
  6. ‎MLS. Babalola Paul as ‎National Vice President South-West 
  7. ‎MLS. Bright Anyanwu Okolie as ‎National Vice President South-South
  8. ‎ MLS. Husseini Jibrila  as National Assistant Secretary General
  9. ‎MLS. Emmanuel Awa Anya-Awa as ‎National Publicity Secretary
  10.  MLS. Uwagboe Nosamudiana as National Financial Secretary
  11. ‎MLS. Lokoja Ebiweni James as ‎National Programs Director 
  12. ‎MLS. Adeshina Covenant as ‎National Welfare Officer

In this same vein, the YMLSF Electoral Committee Chairman MLS. Uwagbai Isioma has issued a statement on why they are yet to release the results for the position of the Secretary -General which was contested for by MLS. Stephanie and MLS. Dodowa. Click here to read more on the statement .

 

This year’s Summit saw the gathering of Young Medical Laboratory Scientists’ round the country. The Summit tagged Confluence City 2025 has its theme as “disruptive diagnostics: The future Medical Laboratory Scientists in the Converging World”
